Full Tilt Software
Full Tilt is known as one the best poker clients out there, in part because their software is easy to use and loaded with great options. Full Tilt Poker.com found all the options that players need and it shows, because their interface truly delivers. With tons of options and special features, they simplified the way you find a game, display tables, and play on multiple tables as smoothly and easily as possible. This article describes the Full Tilt Poker download features tand all the options they provide to make Full Tilt game play as excellent as possible.
First, the lobby. Full Tilt has three different ways to display the lobby: Standard View, Basic View, and Classic View. Standard View, the default, should be your choice because it has the most options for choosing tables and looks the best. It is easy to change lobby types at any time with the “Lobby” menu, but this article uses the Standard View.
Full Tilt Poker.com’s lobby is designed to make finding the perfect game easy. At the top, they put a cascading menu to display table selections. You choose the format (Ring game, Sit & Go, Tournament or Rush Poker), the game, the limit and the stakes to show all the games you want to see. While most sites just display every active table, Full Tilt Poker only shows games that you are interested in. By clicking the “Custom” button, you can limit the tables to any specific stakes you want. Below the cascading menu, there is a green “advanced filters” button that can narrow the field even further by specifying the number of players, speed, cap/stack size and other options. For example, Full Tilt could show only full ring tables from $.25/$.50 to $1/$2, and only see the games you want to see.
In the center, you can browse tables and sort them in several different ways. Sorting by average pot size or players per flop, for example, will help find fishy tables. When you click on a table, look to the right to see all the players and stack sizes. Thanks to all these great options, the table selection tools at Full Tilt Poker.com couldn’t be better. You can also chose what information is displayed on the side by clicking the “Customize” button in the bottom-right.
Full Tilt Poker.com included several ways to make game play and multi tabling smooth and easy. Under the “Options” tab at the top, there are many adjustments you can make to customize your client. Playing on an old, slow computer? You can turn off avatars, animation and sound to optimize performance. Set the appearance of your tables by clicking “Table View…” towards the bottom, where you can change backgrounds, card settings, chat options and layout. Click the “Account” tab at the top to change your avatar or personal settings. Full Tilt also recently added a neat in-game feature where you can hover the cursor over your player to show your hand after folding.
When it comes to multi tabling, Full Tilt gives you all the options you could want. When multi tabling, a player wants as few mouse clicks as possible. First, turn on the standard “Four Color Cards” option to avoid confusion, and turn on “Auto Center” so you always stay in the same place. Uncheck “Bring Lobby to Front” if you don’t like the lobby popping up when you close out of a table, check “Auto Muck Hands” if you usually muck and enable “Auto-Post by Default” and “Wait For Big Blind by Default.” Under “Table View…”, choose simple backgrounds like Plain or Midnight, and use Buy-In Preferences and Bet Slider options however you like. When you turn on these options, multi tabling is much easier.
The customization doesn’t end there. When you sit down at your tables, you will notice a “LAYOUT” button in the top right. This gives you tools for choosing, saving, and loading table layouts. You can do it manually, or use their automatic layouts. “Tile Tables” is good for 3-4 tables, but with several tables open will be too small to easily use. “Cascade Tables” is made for multi tabling many tables, but is not ideal for 4-10 tables because it is harder to monitor hands. Finally, the new “Stack Tables” option stacks the tables directly on top of one another. Again, It is a good option for multi tabling, but is not good if you want to keep track of how many tables are open and which table is which.
Full Tilt Poker continues to be a leader in the world of online poker because when it comes to game play, they are packed with tools and options to make every player’s game better. With all these tools at your disposal, you will find yourself playing on more and more tables at once.
